Sites are crowded together but some have hedges etc. between them. The ocean was not visible, though it is audible, from the sites we were at, there was a small hill to climb over to get to the beach itself. It is a very short trek to the sand from the sites so the water is fairly accessible.
None look over the water anymore because a lot of The campground has been pushed back due to the ocean taking over the beach. But in the very back of A there are a couple sites left that are so close you only need to go about 3 to 5 feet out of your site to see the beach. The ocean is very accessible though' no matter what camp site your in. With 4 main entrances. One in the drive in to campground one in the group sites' one in the back of A section and one or even two in the day use area. The cabins in the day use have an ocean view. And worth the price. I would recommend sections C or D. A and B will have you be out in the Sun with no trees or have misquetos' they are wide open but pretty spacious. I will say the trailer sites are closer together and the tent sites and yurt sites are farther apart. Also the back of D section you may get mosquitoes and lots of mud when it rains. But if you can get in the back of D in nice weather' probably the best sites in the camp.
The sites are tight but most have thick brush between them and it can feel decently secluded. The beach is very close but all sites are back from it, you have to walk over a berm to see the ocean.
Tight sites, cannot see water from any sites, large berm, access good to beach
