Questions & Answers

Why are Tillamook county campgrounds so expensive, they cost about $10 more than neighboring county camp grounds even California's camp grounds are cheaper, I drove home, 1 less day spending money in your county, your not any better than others.

Hi Teresa, it's Mary Faith. FEMA has developed new flood maps using lidar technology. Some properties that were previously in flood zones are not any longer, many haven't changed at all; about 2600 properties in the county are impacted by the new maps. The maps are available on the FEMA website and they will print one for you at Community Development. If you have property that might be affected, you should check it out.
