Not sure about bringing little kids but would definitely recommend going to events that are just for them. Mostly for adults I think.
It would depend on the event that's happening that night.. some shows are all ages.. I recently went to an all ages show and the main floor was divided into two halves: a 21+ section where the bar is set up and an all ages section... hope this helps!
