One of the last vestages of Old Portland. Shows here are so intimate and high-energy, the bartenders are attentive, and the acoustics are excellent anywhere you stand. I want to shout out the ticket checker last night - the sole of my shoe broke right before getting to the venue and I asked for a piece of duct tape. 20 minutes later, they tracked me down in the crowd and handed me a big strip of heavy-duty duct tape. They literally saved the night, I could dance again!!

Dante's has such a cool atmosphere to it! The mixture of people there on a Monday night was really nice to see, the live karaoke sounded GREAT, if a little shrill on the treble. The bartender in the lounge was my favorite, they took great care of us and made us feel welcome. The gender neutral bathroom was a really nice thing to see, but sadly there was no lock on the door so it didn't feel safe at all. I really hope they fix that soon. So very looking forward to coming back for another fun night! Hopefully soon I'll be ready to try karaoke too! 🌈🐸🦨🦝🐌

Just went here for a show last weekend. It was such a good time. Great venue for intimate shows and the staff was awesome. They had one of my favorite ciders there, Schilling Grapefruit and Chill, so that was perfect. Would definitely come back again and I most definitely recommend this place to others! They have lots of other shows going on all the time.

Great local bar with a pizza kitchen. Good place to see punk and metal shows but also hosts many events and caters to many music genres and live karaoke on Mondays. Famously known for Sinferno, every Sunday night.

No
Yes it is a completely flat wheel chair accessible establishment. However there is no "special" wheel chair section. If you don't get there early and don't have someone to guard your spot, it may be difficult. Also, air conditioning is kinda iffy. Still, i like the joint. So caveat.
Yes. They do Karaoke with a live band at 9pm. Before that it's a bar with pizza.
Message them. It's 2022, after all.
Monday night karaoke from Hell, is off the chain 👍
Call or go to the venue.
If it has a code that can scan, maybe. The actual licenses have 3D technology that scan.
Wasn't required when I was there recently
Not anymore since there’s a no mask mandate for the state
Just get vaccinated. Stop fking around
I would think
I really do not know the answer to that question. I would assume yes but you would need to contact the restaurant manager. Sorry I'm not more of a help on that one.
Mondays is Karaoke night. 400 plus songs in several volumes await you. Waits are reasonable considering you will be backed up by a live 6 piece band. The musicians are you backup vocals. You pick the song , they might ask what key. Then have at it. Good news is the sound man knows how to make you sound like Sinatra.
To annoy you.
Nearly 500 throughout the whole main floor. About 300 or so on the actual dance floor.
Yes 8pm doors
This is why we don’t have a phone.
Yes. Great question thank you!
It really depends on who's playing. If there is seating available it's limited to whatever is around both bars and the few tables. It's usually a good time either way.
The entry doors can handle a wheelchair being pushed through however they're not electronically operated. I'm not sure if that answers your question.
Go in between 11am and close..they will have your card.
Yes if the show isn't sold out. Just go to the bar and ask for the ticket. They are friendly
Jennifer travis- the brothel was axtually 1 building to the west and upstairs.
21 only. All ages shows are usually held at Star Theater, their sister venue.
The food is definitely bar food so take that as it is if you want to eat at Dante's or somewhere else. For show times you need to check the website for times. All the shows that I've been to were standing room only. If you get in early they usual kick everyone out (usually about 1 hour before the show) then have everybody re-enter for ticketed events.
I don't think so
