Intimate venue with a good vibe. Even met the owner when he came to grab empties off our table! When the owner is personally running customer support on a busy night; you know you've found a spot worthy of your dollars! 10/10 would recommend. <3

WOW. This is one the best music venues I have ever been to. I felt compelled to make a list for a place that greatly exceeded expectations: 1. Tons of space even in a sold out crowd. A large dancing area and plenty of places to sit or roam freely. Intimate setting. 2. Sounds system is immaculate. Speakers are in the bar area and even the bathrooms. 3. Excellent drink selection with a lot of bartenders that are fast and friendly. I never waited more than 5 minutes to get drinks despite a large crowd. Everything was reasonably priced (especially for a brand new venue). 4. Free and fast water stations near the bar with glasses provide. What a relief to get water immediately when needed. 5. Bathrooms are clean and classy. Plenty of stalls...never had to wait. 6. Lively and vivacious crowd. Everyone was friendly. All the staff, including the security team were cool. 7. Beautifully renovated and really CLEAN. Dope artwork and decorations. Honestly, it is worth flying into Portland just to visit this venue. Only other place I can think of that might be on par with The Get Down is Stereo in Montreal, Canada. I can say with certainty that there is nothing like this venue in Portland. Enjoy!

The sound was perfect everywhere. The AC was working hard keeping us at a great temperature as we heated up the dance floor. This place is already on its way to being the best venue in Portland

Coolest venue I've ever been to! Wow they did much an amazing job on the space. The sound is next level and the lights are out of this world. All the drinks were tasty too. I will 100000% be back.
