I currently am facing a hard time with keeping my dog & I want to know if I can temporarily keep my dog at the shelter until I am able to move and then come back and get her?

Hi Brianna, I am sorry that you're going through some tuff times. Your best options are your friends, or family if you want to keep your dog. The Human Society isn't a shelter to hold animals like a boarding place. The Human Society is a place that people surrender there animals, and adopt too. I hope that you will find the best option for yourself, and your furry friend. Best of luck to you! ! :)

I don't believe the Humane Society will do that as it is like a boarding type situation. You can owner surrender your dog and pay the fee, but after a hold period they will put her out for adoption. Could you find a friend who could take her for a while? That's usually the best, most cost effective option. Sorry you are going through this!
