A stray cat likes to defacate in my fenced yard. But my dog will harm it, she's gotten close several times. Can this cat be trapped and placed for adoption? Please advise. I do fear for its safety.

They will trap it they just have to have homeowner approval to put a trap on your lawn. They'll put it in the barn cat program probably.
