Not as cool of a lighthouse as the other ones in the area but a great park to sit and enjoy the puget sound. Parking is difficult and on the side of the neighborhood roads.

This is a cute park with a beautiful/modern lighthouse to check out. I recommend having a picnic here in the grass or outside tables during sunset, or just in general. As you can see, the lighthouse is quite picturesque - it's a lovely spot to bring a romantic partner or older family member!

The restoration is beautiful. Such a lovely setting. The views are magnificent. You should visit this place. Try and go on a clear day so you get the full panoramic view on the Puget Sound.

This is a wonderful park with a lot of history. Great views of Tacoma and Vashon island on a clear day! They have tons of benches and picnic tables and a lot of interpretive signs on pretty much every building on the premises. You can actually stay at the lighthouse keeper’s house. They have renovated nearly every building except the lighthouse which they are starting on soon!

Questions & Answers

I went to this location and the gate was closed and said Private Property. I went down the street and couldn't find a parking area. Any suggestions of where to park to see the lighthouse? Thank you.

Just to the left of the gate there is an entrance into the park. You can walk through that. Also to theNorth is a small parking lot at the end of an unassuming street. You can park there. Not many spaces though.

Private non-civilian Homes on site, there is no public camping of any kind. There is no public parking in front, that is for clube members only now and instead you must use the tiny dirt lot at the end of the street found by going around a few blocks and entering a narrow alley. Closes at sunset or about 9:30pm at the latest.
