Just go there for a ritual I used to do with my mom before she passed away in 07 water is my calming down meditation stress release I have now .. from there through Whrights park to Stadium High school and look at the water and stars.before the rain hits until spring time.God blessed everyone

A lovely, historic park to visit after a visit to local restaurants and pubs - get your walk on! Some of the more historic buildings can be seen from here as well as the water.

Quiet and relaxing place to enjoy lunch or stroll through. There isn't much to do nearby, unless you're in the mood for adult beverages and food. The Office, Matador, etc are just a block away. There's a huge totem 🗿 pole and other various sculptures on and around the park. Views of the water; looking out towards Dash Point and the Port of Tacoma (the latter isn't so nice on the eyes). I love that there's a quiet park near my office with plenty of bench seating where I can take a break from my hectic day and just enjoy some fresh air and scenery :)
