I got stray cat and raccoon problem arround my neighbourhood. Does animal control come and scoop them up or I have to trap them myself and make a quick werk out of it?

Someone should look in to the Tacoma, WA shelter. It is misrun, the staff have no customer service skills PLUS they don’t treat their animal clients well. I was going to heir a substantial donation in my estate until my wife and I were mistreated by the most unprofessional shelter staff we EVER encountered. There should be a complete organizational change in that facility! I am saddened that such unprofessional behavior should be allowed to prevail in what otherwise should be a worthy cause agency.

they take forever to do something about it and still waiting continuously that it's causing my behavior to change towards my neighbors rooster constantly crowing about 15 times in a minutes for a long time all day long. i have fibromyalgia pain and flare ups causes noise sensitivity that causes pain in the body that i end up yelling through the window at the roosters owner and honk to annoy them the way they already irritated and caused distress over my health. it's really painful that i'm hurting every single day and there is no help coming sooner when needed really badly.

They are not about animal welfare or protecting the public they are not into finding facts they would rather condemn good family pets than take five minutes and actually find out what caused an incident an where fault lies they are not for what s right. Worthless County workers . dont waste your time . they should be locked up for weeks then have a needle shoveb in them. County would be better place without em

Sometimes it can take a bit, several hours to over a day. But you have to keep calling! That was my experience when I called to save a goat, that was being mistreated. Eventually they sent out an officer to investigate the situation, and the Goat was sent to a better home by the end of that weekend. But again, in my experience, you have to keep calling to get them to understand the urgency of the situation! Good luck! And thank you for looking out for our friendly furry Friends! 😊
If you can't get in touch with anybody through Animal Control, I suggest you Google duck rescue and see what you come up with. Sorry I have no other information to give you about your situation, I've had some issues with animal control in the past, so I hope they will help.
Yes
Call Pierce county animal control and leave a detailed message or get online and file a report on their website. If you have the dog at your home you can call the Tacoma humane society and do a "found" report over the phone with an employee letting them know what kind of dog, coloring etc so that if an owner comes looking they can see who may have found their dog. You can also physically take it into the Tacoma Humane society and leave it with them. You can also take it to a vet to have it scanned for a chip that will show the owner contact info.
Nope. Have to have the city do it.
