Hi Michael! Thanks for reaching out. The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County's Pet Food Pantry supplies pet food and supplies to those temporarily in need. In order to receive supplies, you must provide identification and proof that your pets are spayed or neutered. If your pets are not altered, you will be given food for the first visit, as well as vouchers to have your pets spayed or neutered for a minimal fee. Proof of the surgery must be provided for subsequent visits. Proof of the surgery can be provided by the vet who performed the surgery or by a vet who examines the animal. In emergency situations, we can evaluate the animal's status. The Pet Food Pantry's hours of operations are: Mon - Fri: 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. We hope this helps!
