As a 60+ lady traveling alone I did not feel unsafe for a moment while staying here.
Colorado Springs has a huge homeless migration problem. Many of which do not stay in homeless shelters because they would rather hang out near affluent areas to get money and it is warm enough to sleep outside. So, the hotels will work hard ar keeping the unsavory off premises in order to maintain guest safety. It does happen.
I saw a few but I their parking lot is lit well enough to keep them away at night.
My family and I stayed there back in May of this year and we never seen anyone and didn't have any problems. It was a descent place to stay.
Yes they keep a pretty close eye on things. No worries staying there.
A wonderful place to stay. My wife and I felt completely safe. I guess you can find unsavory folks anywhere nowadays but we had no problems at the Academy.
