About 200ft feet give or take but half of that is steps down to the beach.
Depends a little where you are able to park as there is parking further away however (when you are lucky) also right by the bridge leading to the beach. The bridge crosses the railroad tracks, has a ramp leading to the bridge and a long 3 part steel steps on the other side of the tracks. At the bottom of the steps, the beach starts.

There's a number of parking areas at Carkeek Park. The closest is near the tressel steps, which lead directly down on to the beach. Their is specified handicapped parking there also. Perhaps 5ish minutes to the tressel steps. If you have toddlers or small children, they might get scared of the steps! You can see through the steps and my brother as a 5 year old was terrified of them in the early 60's! Don't even try to take a stroller up or down those stairs!!
