Nice family trip! More of the animals were out and about a year after the pandemic. Maybe the animals had a funny feeling too...

Great park. Great community. Close parking. Lots of community tennis balls. Decent water spot. Only one dumpster for waste bags and it's outside of the park fencing, minor inconvenience. Be on the look out for sharp roots and rebar that get exposed in the ground from time to time.

Park is being taken over by homeless again. RVs are entering and setting up shop, picnic shelters being used to construct makeshift homes. Lots of garbage. Please end this, Seattle. Back today and the RVs left a refrigerator and lots of trash. Decided to park on other side of loop to get away from their own rubbish. More tents in the gravel parking lot. Homeless wheeling their luggage or doped up falling over as they sit on the picnic tables. Dog did not want to walk thru park because some dude was yelling at nothing.

Depends on the size of the barbecue. If you want a shelter you need to reserve. Otherwise there are public picnic areas with barbecue
U pay online and enter in your license plate #. You pay for how many hours your going to be there.
The park itself is free to use; if you need to reserve some space, the Seattle Parks and Recreation website will have that information and be able to help you. If you mean Woodland Park Zoo, the woodland zoo website has current ticket information. For the remainder of the Summer 2021 season, Zoo tickets are $24.60 for ages 13-64, $22.60 for people 65+, $15 for ages 3-12, and Toddlers under 3 free. Parking is $6-$12 depending on length of stay.
Not a formal one but plenty of space to improvise.
