I love this place. The bath house is great when it’s open during the season. In 2022, it is one of about 7 beaches in the area to have a lifeguard on duty and the bathhouse open, due to shortages of trained lifeguards. There is usually parking. Side Note: There is often a police presence at this beach. I’m guessing because of the violence a few years ago, but it also seems odd that they always (the 20 or so tomes that I’ve been) remain at this beach, which is more utilized by the BIPOC community than some other beaches. So, I have mixed feelings about that. Maybe it makes people feel safer. I’m not sure it does for me.

The view of the lake is nice, and the water is cool, but only the shallow part is accessible. There are a few benches, so bring a chair for assurrance. Ok, if you just want to get your feet wet...

Pritchard Island Beach is a nice beach by Lake Washington. Nice trails to walk on.
