If you want to be swarmed with homeless people every other inch, most of the time, this is the place. Rarely is it anything close to what a park should be. It is too bad. It could be a great family spot or place to rest and enjoy the view if not for Seattle's absurd notion of inclusiveness.

Scenically beautiful (supposed to be); but filled with homeless people in groups - drinking, smoking posing a threat to innocent public.

Cool view just off the end of pikes place market. Come and enjoy lunch but wouldn't recommend after dark and please please watch kids around dirty needles etc. and watch your step around leaves they blend in and could be tragic if stuck with one. Sorry it's the reality of being in downtown Seattle it's everywhere and nobody cares who sees them and no one stops the usage in the parks. Buuuuuut I do enjoy it early afternoon or afternoon to sip a beer or have lunch from pikes market.

It's a awesome view with water falls, we visited in June 2021, it has heavy water fall with amazing view. Don't pay for the parking on the opposite side you could park for free and you could walk. It's a pretty awesome view with trees, mist and heavy/fast running water.
