My walks around Green Lake were always in the morning. I noticed the east beach and kayak rentals. It looked inviting. Geese and ducks were the swimmers when I went by. No lifeguard necessary.

Just Fantastic! Family and friends rejoice among Giant Trees and EPIC water scapes.

very similar to west beach. east beach has mostly flat large sandy area, some lawn and the beach access is a little easier for little ones, both usually have lifeguards but right now only west along with diving boards only at west right now as well. guards are not over the top like at some pools, but kids do need to pass a simple swim test to go past the ropes or to the diving dock. there are bathrooms and showers at both sites. parking can be a little easier at west. explore nearby street parking if lots are full.

One of two designated swimming areas. The other on the west side of the lake. Lifeguards during the summer often. Paddleboats and watercraft galore. And Coffee just a few feet north on the trail. Which is a bit over 3miles around. (3.2 I believe : ). Greenlake as a whole is Great !!! But Does Get Busy,.. And parking often unavailable in this area. Have Fun ☺

As long as your Cool. And don't create a problem. OR INTERFERE with personal space. (just be out of the way of others) I've haven't seen anyone have a problem. I do not know the current laws. I do know the west side is best for grilling. And in 50yrs,.. Are treated as well as you Treat. I'll have mine MEDIUM WELL 🤣.
