what should i take to go camping here? do i need any safety stuff? like a gun in case of a bear or something?

Care is important, plenty of water, food, and stay on the trails, a snake bite kit could be necessary. A gun should only be used as a last resort. Check with park rangers as to firearms limitations.

There is bears and mountain lions and Javalinas. There is also rattle snakes. So yes, a gun would be helpful. Also allergy meds . But its beautiful country!
