How do you help stop the puppy mill problem if you are supplying the puppy mills with more funds to continue their practices? Wouldnt that just perpetuate the problem?

The first two responses are accurate, eloquent, and well stated. My original thoughts were of a similar vein, but were more angry that anyone would think that such a wonderful rescue organization would fund puppy mills. Rant over. All you have to do is go to the rescue and you see all the love these people have for the dogs they rescue. There's a memorial statue for Lilly, the rescue that inspired the organization. You can learn more through their well-written Website. They are angels for these mistreated abused dogs.

The puppy mill owners voluntarily surrender the dogs they no longer want to NMDR. It costs a lot of money to fund the rescue trips, pay for the extensive vet care these dogs require, feed the dogs and to maintain the facility.

The funds do not support the puppy mills. This place rescues the dogs from puppy mills and rehabilitates them so they can find homes outside of kennels in the puppy mills.
