This place for animal adoption is awsome! If you want to bring home a rescue pet this is the place! Blippi visited here, and the best pets from experience are rescue pets from adoption! They have pets for every animal lover who wants to adopt a pet! Staff here are awsome, and place is clean!

Tried calling ahead, and noone picked up. Showed up during their very limited Saturday hours, and they told us we weren't allowed to even see nor meet the dogs unless we made an appointment for Tuesday. We work Tuesdays, and it's ridiculous we have to pick which dogs to meet based on a couple pictures on the website. How many dogs go unadopted because of these backwards policies? Be better.

We just adopted a cat from this place. The people who assisted us were friendly and helpful, and put us in touch with the newest member of our family! ❤️

Lovely and helpful staff, appreciated them letting me spend time with the pup I adopted. Giving me advice on nervous dogs and even giving me puppy pads for training! (Picture taken before signing adoption papers and a week after adoption papers)

I bring my young kids, 5yo - as long as they are with an adult they can volunteer!
Yes! As soon as they open they can take her. So nice of you to catch her, they will take great care of her and find her a wonderful home. I think they are open at 9a.
Yes, they will.
Did you get it at Burien Cares? If so then your puppy already has his shots and neutered. Otherwise a Vet has to do it. I recommend 5 Corners their prices are reasonable
Call Cares in Burien an animal control officer will come our and check it out if you give them an address
Patty, I highly recommend checking out their website. They are an animal rescue and shelter for unclaimed pets. They're also non-profit so they don't make money off of selling animals. I highly recommend Burien Cares!
I'm not sure but I believe this location is family owned and operated. Before the pandemic however, they did have volunteer positions available sporadically as needed but since the pandemic they have just had family related volunteers handling the daily business. When the pandemic ends and things get back to normal there will be a sign up sheet you can inquire about at the front desk they will be more than happy to help you. This is a wonderful group of people and they sure have done amazing things for all the animals and the people living in the surrounding area!!!
Please call Buruen cares. I'm sure they would be best to direct you and help in any way they can. For safe and well care fir your sweet doggie.
In regards to the kittens I'm sure Burien Cares can be of help or help you get the help you need.
I'm sure if they have availability they will help you in any way possible.
You might want to get the answer straight from them, but I'm pretty sure they are dogs and cats only. Check adoptapet.com it lets you enter search criteria
There's a place I took a wild bird to. It's off Westlake in Seattle.
No your to young when you turn 15 or 16 depending on the what they have available at the time but buy then the rules or laws might have been changed good luck.
I've called and told them about a stray dog in Burien that jumps infront of cars. They don't ever answer or come out to investigate. It's very frustrating.
Not sure I think it depends
Where was she missing from or last seen. With that many kittens She cant have gone far. Burien C.A.R.E.S 206-812-2737 Open at 9 am 909 SW 151st St. Burien, Wa 98166
They will fundraise or get donor support to help care for the animal. They also do not take all surrenders, knowing they may not have the staff or funds to care for the animal
Did you find the dog in Burien? If so, call CARES 206-812-2737. If not, contact Regional Animal Services of King County. Also, post on Nextdoor, Lost Dogs of King County and Lost Pets of King County, both on Facebook.
CARES is wonderful, but you have to be a Burien resident. Search 'Misspits Rescue.' They may be able to help. Good luck to you and the pups 💜
They did when I was tgere 3 weeks ago.
Theres still usually someone there on Sunday (they arent open to the public), just ring the doorbell.
I would call and ask they are a shelter but not sure what all services they provide. They are very friendly, helpful, and work for the city of Burien
Just stop in. They might give her a start date right away.
Call Care's or report to animal control But i personally would call Care's...
Absolutely! You can also be a volunteer and take them for walks.
I do but not sure. They close at 1 PM on Saturday. Give them a call.
Check west Seattle blog, they have a lost and found pet log
