We had a voucher, and just showed up on the day and they gave us a time slot. We had about a half hr wait.
We didn't have a voucher and turned up anyway, worth a trip, kids loved it.
The 30 minute boat rides didn't require a reservation. Go early in the day if you want to see more wildlife. All we saw was some baby gates. There were some bald eagle to be seen to but i only noticed them after I looked at the results of my picture. I didn't consider any of the extra things to see or do to be noteworthy but maybe they would be if you have young kids.

Just turn up and wait or book a time slot if there is a particular time of day you have available. We had a great time and definitely watch the native encampment presentation.
