You can drive
If it is not too busy u can drive
In the busy times there is a shuttle. If the shuttle parking is not active you can typically find a place to park at the visitor center.
We have been there twice and we have always driven.
It depends upon when you ate going. If you are going before the middle of May then you drive in. Between the middle of May and the middle of October you need to tkae a shuttle between 9 and 3 unless you have handicapped parking or unless you are going into back country overnight.
You can drive after bus service has ceased. Do not remember hours of operation. Once at Ranger Station, actually walking / climbing monuments.
Bus only
Take the shuttle bus, it is easy and free, and it saves a big deal of driving.
Drive! There is parking!
