This is one of the most absolutely exquisite of so many in Southern California The view, the botanical gardens and surrounding hills, the view! :-) is breathtaking to say the least!

Absolute beautiful setting with benches looking at the views . You have a view of Ventura and the ocean on one side and hills of vineyards on the other and of course The Serra Cross. Heads up, the parking lot is fairly small.

Have always loved this place due to its peaceful environment. Best time to visit is sunset.. you will go crazy to see the view when the sun sinks into pacific ocean.. the sky colors and the curvy ventura coast

Not sure but theres a number there on the left before you step down to go to the cross.
No. Officially no. Since Thomas Fire which burned through the Cross park with some minor burns to the Cross. It is been cleaned up and replanted. Per Ventura visitor center it will reopen at end of summer. .
There are a bunch. Some on the beach at the Ventura pier. Thata only 8 min away. If you're looking for something cool and funky check out Waypoint Ventura. It's bunch of vintage trailers.
Hi, the Ventura cross served as a beacon, for the mission, pointing travellers s to the right place
You can drive up the road a bit, but have to hike up a small distance.. not to difficult

There isn't a specific opening date yet the general information is that it will be open at the end of summer that would be the end of September a specific date has not been provided
