It's a great place with beautiful sunsets.
RVers are allowed one dog per site as long as it is under 35 pounds. If the pet is over 35 pounds, there is $5 per night fee. A second pet is allowed for an additional $5 per night no matter its weight. A party is never allowed more than 2 dogs without the written permission by Big Chief at the time of making your initial reservation. Pets must be on leashes at all times and you must pick up after them. Dogs are never allowed in any buildings. Cabins 7 & 9 are our only Pet Friendly Cabins. There is a non-refundable fee of $20 per night per dog, up to two dogs.
No
Our ladies camping group went last March and two of them brought their small pups. They didn't pay a thing, kept their pups in pens or on lashes and cleaned up after them regularly. They were in vintage travel campers. The staff is super sweet and easy to work with... very accommodating.
Yes. I know there are at least 2 cabins that are pet friendly. Personally, I would call the # & speak to someone about the pet rules. A real person will give you more information than a website can.
Depends on the pet. You can see their rules here: bigchiefrvresort.com/rules_policies/
Ive been there twice and I never seen anyone with pets ??
