No swimming in the lakes, they had a pool, it is closed down right now. Only water is the cold springs. One has published access, the second one is closed off from the public.
Swim in the pool. There are a lot of cotton mouth's in this park. 100% swim in the pool!🐍🐍🐍

There is no swimming at either of the lakes at Roman Nose. You can play and Wade in the natural springs that feed the small streams near the swimming pool area, tho. Very cold water.
I have seen kids in the water around the boat ramp area.
