Absolutely Beautiful.... I just wish people would show respect for protected areas as there is a natural water pool they could have gotten in like we did & I could have gotten my nature shots without people.

Amazing scenery! As well as amazing rv spots! Bitter creek is my favorite, Quiet, hardly any traffic, beautiful creek next to the parking spots for Rv’s. Amazing trails, as well as a restaurant (Foggy bottom, amazing, definitely recommend) not far from it. If you have the chance GO TO ROMAN NOSE!

Fabulous park with kind of a tragic namesake. Hiking is fantastic. Their are trails for beginners and intermediate. The lakes look great. Artificial but great. Serious money is being poured into the park. Great swimming beaches. Their are also two great places to eat. Worth your time

The park was clean and peaceful and beautiful even in winter. Great stay, got some hiking and mountain biking done in a beautiful setting.

The last 10 years I have been fishing there I have never caught a fish. But I do love the surroundings. Maybe you should make the trip. It's a nice camping area.
Yes it is. The menu is available on the website.

We stayed in cedar cove and Canton vista... had all the hook ups ... walk across the street to the lake. Internet in roman nose is bad. Lake Canton is just a little further and it is where we will probably go next time. We missed our internet and tv
Yes go to Canton lake. Tons of area to camp n 🏊 n fish and boat.. Romanos naw...
The trails and park is free. Other things cost like horse riding, paddle boats, canoes and mini golf, swimming etc.
The fishing is alright. The Trout is the only thing you will have luck with. The bass will only bite if the pressure is around 29.85. If it’s not that then good luck. But I would recommend driving to a lake or pond that isn’t that big. To catch anything bass wise you have to be out on the water in a boat. The crappie stay very low on the bottom, and don’t bite. Also the boats are not cheap. The place used to be nice but now it’s littered with trash.
Yes there is Channel Catfish, Crappie, Trout, Bass, Perch
No swimming in the lakes, they had a pool, it is closed down right now. Only water is the cold springs. One has published access, the second one is closed off from the public.
Service dogs are allowed anywhere basically and you can’t be charged pet deposit etc. because service dogs are not considered a pet.
I called Roman Nose Park Ranger and they said no. Thank you everyone for you help
Yes, they have very nice MTB trails. Between 6 and 8 miles depending on way you go. Is very rugged (lots of gypsum & cactus), but is quite fun, adventurous and exciting. I would recommend knee & elbow pads. Take a lot of water in summer.
Yes, $35 for full hook-up i think. Teepee also available.
Yes they do
Yes. Leash required
No
Swiming 3-6 depending on age horseback riding 45 per person i think kayaking idk
Yesterday, the Lodge, Foggy Bottom Restaurant, and the Clubhouse were without power. I don't think it's been restored yet.
I believe the tipi sites are the only ones you can reserve
I was there in June and restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesday opened Wednesday thru Sunday from 7am til either 8p or 9p
Mark Taylor I'm not sure if they have a Breakfast Buffet or not, you could call and find out.
Not enough lifeguards.
The State Park is near Boecher and Watonga Lake.
No idea here, either. The way the weather has been, wherever the water level is, it's probably frozen.
I didn't see any pets inside the lodge, but heard lodge staff on the phone talking to someone about their pet deposit (sounded like they were staying in the cabins outside of the lodge). I would call to verify.
Golfing and golf- cart riding seemed very popular when I was there. 😎
Not sure Lisa, you'd have to ask the Lodge.
They have hour long rides. 40.00 good horses tho.
Must have a Oklahoma fishing license.
Huh? Call the state park office or consult the website. Your question makes no sense.
Very warm but its that time a year. You all will still have a blast
Regarding state parks for RV hookups I would suggest you contact the park ranger whoever is in charge
Weekends when it's nice I'm guessing are full quickly, it's a small park
Yes but you have to use local wood Don't want to cause any problems with pest
It depends on what time of the year you want to stay. Holidays the price is highwe then them on a normal weekend or weekdays
Contact Oklahoma game and Wildlife here in Oklahoma City they will give you the rights on the rentals for Roman nose
Yes there is a lodge and about 10 or so duplex cabins. I do believe some are pet friendly
It's was like 125$ a night from what I saw
