We were about 20 minute drive from fort Myers Beach. Initially we wanted to be in the beach, but the time we would have sent in traffic on the island was the same as having a leisurely drive to it.

Was very disappointed I had to pay cash to get my dinner at the Bistro because the CC machine was not working. I couldn't charge to my room because of my employers policies regarding meals. Unacceptable. Does that happen often?
