It is a plantation which gives a guided tour about what life was like in a plantation. Much of the information provided gives a different perspective on what it was like to be a slave. It is in Vacherie, Louisiana.

Just outside of New Orleans is where one can visit several of the historical plantations. The Laura Plantation Tour gives walking tours through an actual sugarcane Plantation where tour guides explain in detail about the lives of the people who lived and worked there. From the owners to those who were enslaved there. I highly recommend these tours.

it's an old sugar plantation in Vacherie, LA. They give guided tours explaining pre & post civil war history. Very interesting.

Is a former sugar plantation that's now a tourist place... A lot of it is still there and the stories are just unbelievable
