Hello ! If you bought tickets directly to Laura through our website, you will need to rent a car to drive yourself. Laura Plantation is in the country about an hour from New Orleans. Taxis/Ubers are very expensive and you would need to ensure that the driver stay on-site to transport you back to the city, as there is NO taxi or Uber service out here.

I drove personal vehicle but you can definitely check out a ride sharing app or taxi. Also some hotels like others have stated have a shuttle service but I wouldnt rely on this soley as it is a little bit of a drive for a shuttle service to want to make.
I would talk to Gray Line tours, at the lighthouse ticket office by the water.
If you purchased your tickets through the plantation directly your only real options are a taxi or ride-hailing app. If you purchased tickets through a third party like cajun encounters, they offer a shuttle service on top of ticket purchase for a small fee. The plantation companies do not offer shuttle services.
