According to park rules, dogs are not allowed on any park trail, ranger-led park program or any park building. Pets on a leash not exceeding six feet are only allowed on road-accessible beaches (except dunes), or within 100 feet of public roads and public parking lots, or within picnic areas and road accessible campgrounds. Cal Barrel Road @ Praire Creek or Walker Road @ Jedidiah Smith are highly recommended for leashed pets, if wanting to walk through redwoods.

There are trails where dogs are allowed and trails that no pets are allowed. 🐕

Don't recall any no dog signs. Keep em leashed.

Like most state and recreational facilities governed by the forest service it's highly advisable that you always bring a leash for your dog. It's not for the safety of others but more for the safety of yourselves and your dog
