You can drop by for a tour

Alejandro Rivera | Jun 9, 2019

They are many tour companies at your deposition. Some can pick you up at the hotel (Cajun and Greyhound). Or you can walk to the pickup/drop centers that are at walking distance from most hotels in the French Quarter. Reservation can be made online or buy tickets at the pickup/drop centers. If your are in the French Quarter, your bus departs twice a day(Greyhound). Depending on the tour package you buy (you may opt to buy several tours at once ---farms, swamps, Katrina, etc) tour(s) may last 6 to 7 hours. Oak Alley Plantation tour is about 2 hrs including the guided tour portion of the house. The rest of the time is on your own.

You can drop by and No Reservations necessary... But always helpful

Its very easy. Go online. There are many companys. If I would do it again, I'ld rent a car, start early in the morning, enjoying the landscape, drive there (very easy to find) and buy a ticket für the tour inside the house. It' s without any pressure, you have more time. Stop at any other interesting places.

LaTonya Williams | Jun 9, 2019

If you're looking for a tour where you can drive up it's $25. if you're not driving then you will have to pay a tour company like someone else suggested either swamp tours, Cajun Encounters, tours by Isabelle...there are a lot of them but keep in mind the price goes up three times as much per person. Approx $80-90+. The plantation does have its own website by the way if you need more info on the location specifically

Justyna Johnson | Jun 9, 2019

You can stay there and drop order a tour as well.

Scott Barthol | Jun 9, 2019
