I don't know if it's that important but I can say that it's a great day to spend walking through caverns and caves you will not be disappointed
The beauty is an important feature that if lost or damaged it would be a major loss
It is important because it is great way to introduce the wonders and amazing formations formed a planet in constant change. It also is a great day outing for both family and friends to explore the majesty of one of the largest cavern systems in the Northwest. If you have kids, it is an excellent way to introduce them into the science of geology and the interaction of the elements that form stalagmites and stalagtites.
