Is there a nice beach area for kids to play? The picture on the website looks like but I read a review that said there isn't much beach anymore. Can someone clarify please.

I was just there last weekend, plenty of beach. Miles of it, some areas the sand area is wider, but there's plenty of beach

The sandy portion of the beach is considerably reduced because Lake Michigan water levels are much higher than they've been. In some areas there's no sand portion at all. That said, the lake itself offers play area for kids and swimmers.
