love matters

Went yesterday with my family. It was very enjoyable. Took an ice chest and swam all day. Love that there are lifeguards. It was a great day. The play area was shaded enough for my little one to play and not get burned on the equipment like most play areas. What a little gem.

Get back into nature folks. Crowley's Ridge State Park is conveniently located in between Jonesboroand Paragould.offers hikingtrails, wildlife, campsites, swimming area, picnic sites, fishing, facilities, and their always holding somekind of event. They have had basket weaving, archery education for adults as well as midage children(whither you're experienced or a novelist there's always something to learn),haunted adventures (Halloween),and many more... You'll enjoy your visit here with friendly, informative, helpful staff. So once again GET BACK TO NATURE FOLKS!!! Thank you Arkansas for our state parks! Please take your trash with you. They have disposal containers whether you're picnicking, camping, swimming, FISHING( I have on several occasions picked up the Walcott lakeside of various debris left by inconsiderate person/s(bait containers, fishing line, food containers,soda/beer cans and bottles(there is no alcohol permitted). I always carry a plastic bag or two on my person while inside the park/s so I may leave the site better for all others.Do not remove any natural, structural material(you can take you're fish you catch with you as long as it coincides with the laws) this is against the law. Yes folks, against the law, think before pick that flowers, rock, butterfly, catapillar etc... pictures will have to suffice.

We were first welcomed to this great park by Nina (lady in the office). She provided a warm welcome and a lot of good information. She is definitely an asset to this park. Sites are large, restrooms and showers are very clean, grounds are well kept. We stayed four nights and will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place! The trails are very long, scenic, and is very easily a workout. I usually burn about 400 calories when I come here. If you love nature; check this place out!
