I went on a Saturday around 3 and it surprisingly wasn't too busy. The ranger was there ticketing, make sure you have your discover pass. I was able to find a couple decent spots for swimming. I did a little hiking, but there wasn't much, at least where i was at. I could hear a bunch of guys hooping and hollering somewhere but never did see them. Overall, not a bad spot for a dip.

I went birding and really enjoyed hiking here. The solitude was refreshing. I saw interesting birds like a nesting pair of Pileated Woodpeckers, two Eared Grebes, and a Common Loon in addition to many others. There's a great swimming hole too, although I was there on a cold day.

Easy walk from parking and restroom. Seems far but it's not! Bring floaties, towels, food, etc. Very small beach on main trail. Small trails over the rock lead to other spots to sit-check these out. Rope pull is on rock nearest beach on left side when you're in the water facing it. Climb up and jump! Slippery rocks in water be careful! You can pull a boat near also.

This is the best swimming spot in Spokane hands down. Got grear cliffs the jump off of, all sizes for all experience levels. This place is the best to just relax and chill on the rock island with some friends. They sometimes have a zip line here and boats playing music.
