The tour is 1/3 of a mile, the highlight of the tour being the cavern main room which is surface area larger than a football field and with a ceiling height 12 stories high there's natural rock formations of all types that are well-lit and a laser light show just cause I don't know why it said it's fun to watch though as the light patterns AR projected through a waterfall and a story of creation is told by a narrator. Further exploration to the southwestern corner leads about 300 ft to a pool of water. It is not known if an underground exit through the Waterway exists at this time so I doubt it highly considering it's 2019 and somebody with a scuba suit would have bound to go look by now it's still a fun day in summer or winter since inside it's a nice 60 degree temperature year round
I believe about 1200 feet is right.
You walk right into it and at its longest, around 1400ft, though you can't get all the way back. At the very back, it would be around 300ft vertical to top soil
If I remember correctly 1200 ft
