Unlike TRF, which is larger and more commercialized, Sherwood provides a more charming and quaint feel. The campus is the perfect size, with plenty of attractions, merchants, food options, and fun. Plenty of shade to keep cool from brutal Texas sun. Things are easy to find, bathrooms are clean, most people dress up and remain in character with accents, and there are always things to do. Great drinks, like the “adult chocolate milk” to walk around with. Highly recommend for adults and families.

I got free tickets because the staff was tabling and went with friends to check this out! Very merry atmosphere with lots of exciting things to look at and do, and very cool wares to buy. Would recommend bringing your own water/drinks because prices are inflated like any big event, although the peach or strawberry smoothie from this Bread in Soup place was very tasty. Come with cash too, but they do have ATMs with a transaction fee if needed.

BEST Ren Faire in the area. Personally, I like it better than the one in the Magnolia area. I do wish they'd involve their costumed visitors a bit more in their antics and shows, or at least invite them to take a minor role as a bystander since they take the time to dress the part. I think it would add to the ambiance for the rest of the customers.

What an amazing experience!!! It was our first time at Sherwood Forest and I don't know who loved it more, me or my seven year old! So many options for food, shops, shows, non stop entertainment just walking the grounds. We will be making this a family tradition for sure! Oh! And so many restrooms! They are SO on top of cleaning everything, they had regular restrooms and port a potties, and the staff was in and out cleaning every single time, checking on all stalls. Which was a huge thing, since we were there all day 👏🏻👏🏻 The jousting in the arena and my kid getting to meet Robin hood were the highlights of the weekend.

The camp ground has many events each weekend (bands, fundraisers, dance parties, etc) that are a ton of fun. There is "Quiet camping" available, but for true quiet I recommend ear plugs.

There are a lot of stairs to get into stores. Most of it is dirt paths. It's a lot of walking around. If you bring someone to help you, it should be ok
Did you check with lost and found at the souvenir shop?

No they don't. The trails are not wheelchair friendly! That said I have seen several scooters handle it.
