Our first time back in about 4 years and it’s a fun time for the kids, but is really targeted for the 5 and under crowd. Older kids will not be impressed with the endless versions of carousels and merry go arounds. It’s a little pricey for a single day and the food is typical for overpriced theme park food. However the 3 year olds are going to be right at home here.

Great family theme park especially for the kids. It's got many interesting rides with different thrill levels. The water activities and beautiful water falls are real fun in the summer. As is the usual case with theme parks, food is overpriced. Lines are usually long for the rides on weekends and holidays, so it pays to go on a business day to get the most out of it. Even though it can get extremely hot in the summer, there is lots of shade areas throughout the park. It is worth it to get a membership if you want to enjoy all that the park offers, and save the parking fee. One Premium Membership Card is enough not to pay for parking. If you go early in the day, you can secure a parking space close to the park gate as their parking area is huge.

The entrance tickets are cheap. It has a good amount of rides but I would say it’s for small kids not teenagers. There is a beautiful lake in the middle of the park with peddle boat rides. There is a few waterfalls trough out the park. It’s a nice them park for small kids.

Big amusement park in the land of beautiful gardens. The rides are suitable for smaller kids - even an 18-month old. Bought an annual pass and got two free holiday tickets, so we essentially just went into the park with one annual pass, which is around 100 bucks. It got us to buy food in the park with 20% off. The holiday feast seems nice but we didn't go with that because we didn't want to have time constraints. It is a bit cold during the night in the park. Prepare layers as the daytime is warm. Some rides have long wait times - especially the train station one and the car ride. Prepare to be in line for 20-30 min. Other rides had no line or wait time. Overall a good experience.

Yes Gold pass cover the entrance but not the parking fees..
Yes one day would be sufficient to go around it. Especially if you have kids, they will enjoy it.
All types of cars are allowed and that of the helmet if allowed
Small foods are fine (chips, apples etc.)
Snoopy was @ Gilroy gardens when I went there. I took my granddaughter during Christmas break and she danced on stage with the whole peanuts crew. She had a so much fun.
I am 14 and there is a couple of rides that were thrilling and had some good fun there.
AFAIK you may get free admission to Gilroy Gardens when you buy season gold pass for Great America
I bought a single day ticket online for a total of $43, parking was NOT included for $20
Online: $17/car for parking and $37/person for admission. At the gate: $20/car and $58/person for admission. If you intend to come more than once or at night, the best deal is the premium pass at $91/pass. Great America also has a annual bundle that includes Gilroy Gardens.
Yes
It looks like they're open 5-10 PM on the Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Halloween for special themed events
Not usually. Only for special events. Depends on day but around 6 pm Not but only for special events. It depends on the day, but around 6 PM Sorry for my bad Spanish ...
Yes. But next season 2023 they will not be under the Great America season pass. It's a great park geared for kids. Rides are great & even have a train that circles the park. The waterpark is geared for kids too. The fanciful trees are amazing to see. The story behind them are interesting.
Yes that is a good option. But I suggest you also buy even just a $104 Gilroy Gardens membership. Because every time you come to Gilroy Gardens parking is $25. If you are going to come more than 4 times a year, it is convenient for you. For example we bought 4 GOLD passes from Great America and one from Gilroy Gardens. So parking is free for both parks. And on Fridays Gilroy Gardens can bring one person for free.
I think if I was reading and there they say that if with the golden pass just the Parkin I think if you pay separately
Yes, except for the parking
Water park is included in your admission ticket
Although food and most beverages are not allowed in the park, individuals who have special needs/diets due to a medical condition may bring a small cooler to accommodate such needs.
Yes...Single and double-seat strollers, manual wheelchairs and battery-powered wheelchairs are available near the park entrance. Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be placed on reserve in advance. Quantities are limited. Pricing is $13 for a single stroller, $18 for a double stroller, $15 for a standard wheelchair, $45 for an electronic wheelchair and $50 for an electric wheelchair with a canopy.
I think 15 years old is state standard with permission from school. I think they are always hiring
$ 58 day pass.
Yes, Gilroy Gardens celebrates events that also includes Halloween
11 am to 5 pm Friday and every Friday is bring a friend free day if your a premium holder
Te combiene que compres ek pase gold de great America y para entrar Gilroy Gardens con ese puedes
Hello Uge Dannni, We don't have a set date yet. We will be open mid to late March.
Yes you can buy tickets @ the gate its 10$ for parking too
Lumination was only a special event for that season.
No. You can buy them at the entrance of the park.
The Halloween schedule is different than other months. It's mostly to visit at night. If you go, don't dress your children with black outfits, you literally will be stressed of losing them in the dark!
Non refundable
Yes, but I gotta tell you it's a way slower process too. I saw people in that line waiting and it was taking a minute. If you purchase online they scan the ticket barcode off your phone and Sass! You're in
Not right now.
One ticket per person, needed to enter the park. On entry, have access to all rides.
yes it is
I would not know to just tell the page with this that is happening the truth I do not think
2 years + entry is paid. Children under 2 are free.
Ahi offers tuning on the website at the Gilroy Gardens. The admission ticket in the box is $ 45 or $ 50 per person. But if you buy online think it is between $ 35. They also have memberships. https://www.gilroygardens.org/tickets/daily-tickets
I don't think so. My school tried going last year but there was a fee. You can call them they answer.
$ 48 per person is a special seasonal discount. Per day I think $ 37 online can grab them.
Unfortunately not
If you get the season pass you get a parking pass
Wagon definitely your child would b able to lay down if he needs to also you can carry more of need to
I think you get your hand stamped. I believe it's a day admission with in and out privileges. Keep your ticket and receipt on you, that could help. But it's such a family friendly park, you shouldn't have much problems or issues - I hope you will enjoy! :)
I am sorry I don't know. Telephone them.
Same and it's loads of fun
check the website to see many different options and discounts for individual and group
Food is not that great. Very expensive for what you get. Better to plan and eat before you get there and eat after.
You can also purchase a Gold Card for California Great America and get free unlimited admission to Gilroy Gardens (however you would have to pay for parking $20).
Try Groupon and other coupons websites. There is many times some kind of deal going on.
Must be 46" to ride alone. Otherwise, there is no restriction on height. There is another carousel, exclusively for toddlers. Max height to ride is 48" on that.
I don't think so
I know it's $20 a visit. If you plan on going more than once it might be worth it to get a season pass (about $100) and you get 20% off for in park purchases
Unfortunately the added drinks from Great America wont work in Gilroy Gardens
From Gilroy Gardens: Service animals are welcome at Gilroy Gardens. ... There is a limit of oneservice animal per guest. Due to the nature of most rides, service animalsmust remain with a non-riding member of your party. We are not permitted totake control of your service animal.
I dont believe so, maybe for a baby. Tbey do go through all bags throughly.
No food or water restrictions, we were there last weekend 04/14/2019 and we had carried both in our bag pack that they checked at the entrance.
Yes Purchases online: $ 42.00 or $ 40.00 each if you buy 4 or more At the entrance: Adults: $ 58.00 Children / Elderly Gentlemen: $ 48.00
The girl garlic character is named "Gil" and the boy is named "Roy."

Yes , they charge 15$ If I remember correctly, and 25$ for a year pass. Great America pass will give you free admission but not free parking
Yes they do. I thinking a beautiful and fun place for a wedding too.
37 to 45 dollars for a day pass
$15 for the parking unless you have a premium member with you.
Im not sure either. There is probably a number you can call.
If they are open today until 6:00 pm the Entrance is from 56 dollars to 68 per Adult if they are already a member they do not pay .. children pay after 7 years
$39 daily admission
Yes they do. You can check their website for the details. What I do is buy Great America season pass which also includes free admission to the Gilroy Gardens. It's a great value that way you can visit both.
If it rains then the park will be closed and all the employees and guests will be asked to leave
Around $45
Yes there are. Usually best to bring your own. We bring ours with no problem
Costumes? Yes, you can.
Only 1. You can bring someone in for free on Fridays. They take your picture so there is no sharing. You can give your card to someone for discounts on food and you get free parking with the card too.

With Premium membership, parking is free. Otherwise it is $15.
Like an adult. Explain the rules; no one under ' blank' tall... etcetera Why the rules are in place: Kids can get hurt if they are not a certain heighth. Explain how litogation causes rules to be really stringent- if you really want to get into it. Tips, ask the child other places that had rules that affected them, ask them what they think about it. Explain rules in your life or society that affect people differently
Parking is $15. Free if you are a season pass member.
I would ask the school you're going with.
If buy online is cheaper compare to counter...if I am wrong it is 51 USD.
The best price is online on their website. Costco also sells Great America combo tickets that allow you to go to Gilroy Gardens.
I got the season premium ticket for 99 dl per tx includes parking
The medium ones are $8 for the day with unlimited access, it holds a very large beach bag with room to spare. They have a small one are $6 and a very large one for I think $10 or $12.
This park is for young kids so we found the hours to be long enough, that is since we always arrive when the park opens.
Pool shoes
We pay $ 35 for each person. Children under 3 to 4 years old are free. But we bought the tickets online and they were cheaper. Very fun for the whole family.
Once you buy them
the rides, the water oasis, but these are really for younger kids. 15 year old will get bored after a few rides.
You should pack a lunch if you plan on being there awhile. They have tables outside the park you can sit and eat at. The food inside is way over priced. Bathing suits, towels..stroller for little ones.. Don't forget to get your hand stamped if you go outside and plan on going back in.
If you are an annual pass holder you can bring a friend in for free on fridays
Your 2 year old is free, and if you're just asking about daily tickets, if you buy them online each of the older three children would be $35. There's also a $15 parking fee and the cost for the adults. If you're going to come more than once this season, the value ticket for $48 each is recommended. It's good for all of the season!
Yes 10-6 pm

Regular price: $35 online or $58 at the gate. Better deal if you buy the annual pass or find other discount. Parking is $15/ car
If you have the Great America Gold pass, it is free, so you enter for free and you do not have to buy 2 items
Like 15.00
Thank you! Update: because of such poor management the staff makes mistakes - every other person goes back to say their order is wrong. We got fries instead of Teddy crackers. Then got Teddy crackers. With expiration date of Feb.26 2018!
No, I did not pay because they were under 3 years old!
How much does the entrance cost someone knows
With the identification of 14 and 15 year olds when the discount is.
Yes, my family tried it and they had no problem getting in.
