This entire department as an organization is horrible. I have had service with them for over 15 years and never missed or even been late on a bill, yet when I moved homes they required another deposit. It's not the money it's the point. I can't imagine how much money this organization is "holding" of it's customers and using interest free to funded this organization. This is the definition for extortion and a monopoly. By the way, I am still waiting on my check from my last deposit given also 9 years ago

I don't expect to be treated like royalty, but whoa, very rude customer service.

I don't know who needs to see this but Lisa is awful. I can't get my water turned for 5 days because apparently nobody can come out and do it because they don't have office staff but they do have after hour technicians. But you still can't get in contact with the technicians because nobody is working in the office except Lisa. But she can't do anything so what's the point of having her there? Isn't she office staff? You guys need to figure it out cause I hope you go 5 days without water, especially you Lisa.

Wayne Water Districts stopped charging fees and locking services several weeks prior to the Governor's Executive Order No 124 was issued on March 31st. The Governor's Amended Executive Order No 142 expired on July 29th. Per the order, Wayne Water Districts offered 6 month payment plans for unpaid balances between March 31 and July 29th. Any bills dated after August 1st fall under our normal fee and cutoff schedule. We resumed locking services for nonpayment on September 1st. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help your situation.
I don't think that's a good idea
Water deposits are based on an Online Utility Credit Check and will be either $100, $150 or $200. Our credit check only provides us with information about bad debts you have with other utility companies.
You probably will have to call them first thing in the morning. Do they have a emergency number?

When water service is interrupted for nonpayment and payment is made during normal business hours, we make every effort to get it back on the same day. However, we do not guarantee same day service. If you don't make your payment the same day it is cutoff, please contact our office after the payment is made so a work order can be done.
Outside in the yard there should be a water meter inside of it is the cutoff valve for the whole house
