You are not guaranteed to see Buffalo, it is simply a good vantage point and near an area they like to be
Definitely agree with Shuvodip! That was the only time we saw them.
Early morning is a high probability time to see them. After mid day chance to see them increasingly
It's a matter of luck (perhaps their is a science as to when they show up, but I'm not aware of any).
