Stop! to take in the beautiful view at sunset and see the amazing Buffalo 🦬 on your way up or down the mountains, every time. Easy parking and short walk along the bike trail past the heard, or just view from your car too. 🦬🦬🦬

Always fun to stop and see the buffalo along I-70. If you're lucky enough to catch them on the right side and near the fence it is really a treat. Even better if the elk herd is joining them.

Fantastic to sit and watch these beautiful animals. When I thought it couldn't get better a herd of elk walked down the mountain and joined the Buffalo.

Well, there are only 3 pure buffalo herds thats that have the original dna of the north american bison. The rest are mixed in with farm cattle. I know 2 of the original dna herds are in yellowstone and wind cave national parks

What time is it opened???

It's located in the middle of a bike trail so you will definitely want to visit it on your bike unless you want to walk a long distance and you definitely want to check it out during the day because will be able to see nothing when it's dark out. I ended up seeing the most Buffalo at once at the end of the trail. It seemed like all of them were located in that one area, and that was at dusk.
