Familiarize yourself with the ADA and federal service dog rights. A medically task trained service animal is allowed with you anywhere you go within your own rights. If your dog does not perform a needed task and isnt public access trained, it is not a service dog and does not belong in public.

Although Claire Schubeck is making a mainly correct statement, it is also true per the ADA website "At a zoo, service animals can be restricted from areas where the animals on display are the natural prey or natural predators of dogs, where the presence of a dog would be disruptive, causing the displayed animals to behave aggressively or become agitated. They cannot be restricted from other areas of the zoo." So yes you can bring a Service dog, but they may have specific places where your dog will not be able to enter for the safety of your dog, the zoo animals, yourself and other people.

I brought my service dog today, and it went good. The only place they will not be allowed in the petting area by the goats. The goats were scared of her.
