There are picnic spots all through the zoo. We brought Our whole lunch. There are no restrictions on food just be careful where trash is deposited.

I was just at the zoo last Monday and I saw lots of family with coolers. So I would safely say that would be a yes but if you want a more definite answer I'd call ahead and ask.
