Canoe rental sometimes. The River is usually rather shallow. Too shallow to use a jet ski. Big boulders. They used to use them on the Illinios river. But, now the large Asian Carp population prevents that. Imagine while driving a jet ski and getting hit in the face with a 40 lb Asian Carp.
No jet skis your better of renting one on Lake Michigan.
Kankakee River State Park the water's is way too Rocky and shallow Plus Sea-Doos are prohibited only very shallow drafting boats I wouldn't even use an outboard
