There are several bbq grills , but only 3 have pavilions. To be safe I would definitely reserve a pavilion, otherwise it's first come first served . You could do it all online otherwise the office will have all the information.
Yes, you have to make a reservation for a pavilion or shelter, but you can bring your own items for a barbecue. I was there about 1 week and half ago and used one of the shelters/pavilion because it was not taken, was free when o went but if someone had made a reservation I would've had to move.
I'm not sure about the shelters, but I would think you could bring your food in for the BBQ. You could check online about the shelters I'm sure. Good luck!
