There's a small store about half way down Altorf road for bait and other small essentials. You can get there by going past the main entrances on 113. As far as fishing shore go whenever you think the fish will bite!
Not sure where they sell bait .. believe theres places all around that do .. as far as i know ..you can fish from all over ..many many places along the river ..
