You can bring your own kayaks, but we always use Reed's canoeing trips, they offer kayaks as well and pick up and drop off. Reedscanoetrips.com
Reeds is a bit expensive, but you have a ride back to the shop. You can start at Bird Park in Kankakee and float all the way to Wilmington's Mill Race. Or, you can finish at State Park.
