You should always carry chains in Washington state you never know from day to day if it's going to snow a lot so better safe than sorry and I've traveled there a few times but with my 4x4 truck and it's worth going to, so go have fun 🤗

Not normally but you can always call for road conditions in the rare instance that we encounter lower elevation snowfall.
