We had so much fun going kayaking at Wildwood on our honeymoon - everyone there was so friendly and welcoming! They had so many options for tubing, kayaking, and canoeing, and there was a variety of different trips to book with a range of times and distances. The river was stunningly beautiful. It was quiet and so picturesque! We went on the Lewis and Clark kayak trip, which took us about 4 hours total. The Lewis and Clark trip was great because it had 3 different options for stopping points, and getting picked up at a stopping point when we decided we'd had enough was so easy! They also had floating coolers for rent, which was awesome. We would definitely like to come back to Wildwood for another kayaking adventure.

We did the lewis and Clark trip. It was priced fair . And timed right. It was family friendly. Our equipment was well kept and clean. The staff was super friendly knowledgeable and helpful. They were a pleasure to work with and were concerned about our confort. They answered all questions and recommended future trips we may be interested in. We are pleased with our experience and will return. Definitely recommend

This place was so cool! We did paddle boarding and they were so informative and kind and encouraging. This place is the best place for beginners in my opinion.

Nicole and the staff at WOA were extremely friendly and accommodating. They are a full service outfitter with excellent kayak options and really great add-ons, like “tow behind coolers!” This is the place to get your gear for canoeing, kayaking, or floating the Northwoods.

Questions & Answers

When you go tubing do you need a boat or do they have a boat they use to pull you?

If you are renting a towable tube you would have to have your own motor boat to tow the tube. If you are doing a tube float with us we supply the tube and life vest, drop you off and pick you up. The river current does the rest. Please let us know if we can help out in any way or if you have any other questions. Thanks for reaching out!
