Beautiful 218 foot Landmark cross seen from the freeway (JCT of US 160 & US 65)….2 hours into our 16 hour drive home, to the East Coast of SC, from Branson MO, I realized my wallet was lost at Branson Landing—so….we made a u-turn adding 4 hours to the drive home—the upside ?? Yes-there was an upside-—passing back by this incredible cross and stopping for photos 🙌🙌🙌

Stopped in to check out the Branson Cross and was impressed. Lots of information plaques and wonderful view. Great stop at sunset.

The raindrops are in reference to New Testament scripture John 19:34. When the soldier pierce's Jesus's side where blood and water ran out.

Someone said about the cross on 65 that it costs too much, and just imagine how much food(for people in need, I'm assuming) that could buy. I would like to say, "Just imagine how many lives are getting transformed and how many are convicted to give.

Dean Brown, the man who had the vision of the cross 30 years ago, says they stand for the tears Jesus shed (and sheds still) for the sins of God's children who won't turn to Him.
